At the same time as the Westonbirt Tri Lazlo Ana and Laura were  competing in their first Triathlons of  the season. Laura at the The Tri Team Gloucester Triathlon and the Berdans at the Nuffield Triathlon Challenge  Event.

The course was slightly longer than Westonbirt with an extra Kilometre on both the bike and the run, sadly not playing to Laura's strength in the water. One suspects that had Laura gone to Westonbirt it would have been a close run thing between her and Barry Topham

Laszlo and Ana Berdan competed in the Nuffield Triathlon Challenge with Anna doing the sprint event (750 swim- 21.2K bike and 5K run), Anna reported the lake was a balmy 19 degrees, but as she never likes the pool too hot one supects that with a wetsuit on it might not have suited her, this was followed by a relaxing change in transition 1, if the time is anything to go by (making Barry and Laura look lightning fast). She then dragged an allegedly heavy bike around a very windy course. Laszlo in the mean time was on the standard course 1500m swim 42.4 mile bike ride and a 10K run. Needless to say Lazlo was back in the pool Monday, Ana more sensibly had a rest but was showing off her new swim hat and looking as pleased as punch!
